Our Mission
We do that through authentic love, radical acceptance, and faithful action, teaching God's Word in humility through grace and grace alone. We will be led by the Spirit and driven in worship.
What's The Logo?
We are the Body of Christ and 1 Corinthians 12 says we are one body but many parts. Jesus used bread as an example for His body when He gave us communion. There are several parables to seeds and harvest. So we are to be good seeds, seeking a harvest, and The Body is made of many parts: that is how our logo was inspired.
Worship Driven
What does that mean? At The Body Dayton, we are a worship driven church. Worship is not just something we do, it is who we are. Worship is not just music and singing, it is a lifestyle of giving glory to God. That includes many forms of expression, words, music, actions, and living day to day for God. We were created to worship, therefore, we will together as one Body.
How We Started
In 2018 Pastor Duane Grant started The Body Gathering in Yellow Springs, Ohio. In 2020, they were forced to relocate and the Body Dayton was born! Pastor Duane and Amanda led the church until taking new roles in the church in 2025.
